The Dela Cruz are a humble family of grape farmers. They struggle to make ends meet, but married couple Cedes (Nora) and Damian (Ricky) are warmly respected by their grape-farm community. They supply grapes to notorious liquor magnates Martina (Isabel) and Ramon (Dante). Nolie (Mylene), Cedes and Damian's diligent daughter, is in a secret relationship with Anselmo (Zoren), the son of Martina and Ramon, who is only pursuing her for his own selfish desires. When greed consumes Martina, she orders the plantation to be burned down since the farmers won't sell their land. This unfortunate incident leads to Damian's death; Cedes goes berserk and accidentally kills Ramon. Worse, Nolie discovers that she's pregnant by Anselmo. Several years later, their stars once again align when Maggie (Kyline), Nolie and Anselmo's daughter, meets Jun (Yasser), Anselmo's son with Margaux (Ina) and falls in love with him.
